Got a pleasant surprise from Emilien Escalle when he sent me his designs using my Flatheads template.
He has done Chewie, Darth Vader, Homer, Marge, Sponge Bob Square Pants and R2D2.
They are really cool.

The very FIRST People's FlatHeads is here!
chrismandesign over at My First Bloggy Experience has done up a Flatheads based on his blog's mascot.
I just love it and I wish more designs (xiongatoz@gmail.com) will come in from fans and artists of paper craft.
Once I get enough of FlatHeads design, I will launched The People's FlatHeads Series 1.

People's FlatHeads project has not been successful as I have yet to recieve any designs...:(
As I am still very much for the idea of the People's FlatHeads project, I am still open in receiving your designs. Once I get enough, I will launch the series...so fingers crossed.

However the cutting, folding and glueing must go on so...

The People's FlatHeads

Calling just about anyone who would like to contribute to FlatHeads Series 5.
Entitled The People's Flatheads, I am inviting the People (that's you) to use my FlatHeads blank template (version 1 or 2) and design whatever you want!

From now till 24th of Jul 2011, please send over your template, the name you want to be known as and the picture of your newly designed FlatHeads to this email, xiongatoz@gmail.com.
Once after the 24th, I will consolidate all the templates and release it out as The People's FlatHeads Series 5.
I am not sure if this idea is going to be successful or not but I have been toying with it for a while and I would love to have a FlatHeads series designed by other people.

To start the ball rolling, I am going to contribute the first FlatHeads of this series, Little Miss Cherry Blossom.
Come on. Get your creative juices flowing or poor Little Miss Cherry Blossom will be the only one in this series...:(

What better way to continue with my Flatheads series than with To-Fu Oyako & Gloomy Bear.
These 2 characters were basically what started me collecting designer toys.
They were also the first designer toys in my collection.
To-Fu Oyako is created by DevilRobots and Gloomy Bear is by Mori Chack.
