Hot Wheels 1:64 Scale Ford Super De Luxe Black With Manure from The Back To The Future Movie

Everyone is talking and posting about how awesome their Hot Toys Marty Mcfly and I will not disagree with them. I have also gotten myself this figure and will review soon.
However today I would like to post another item from the Back to the Future movies trilogy.
It is not Hot Toys but Hot Wheels!
It is the Hot Wheels 1:64 Scale Ford Super De Luxe Black With Manure from The Back.

I am sure every fan will remember the two scenes where Biff crashes his Ford Super De Luxe Black into Manure...

"Manure! I HATE Manure!!!!"

Amazing that Hot Wheels actually produced this...LOL

NECA 18" Pacific Rim Striker Eureka

Striker Eureka is in the house. That makes 3 out of 4 main Jaegers in the movie that NECA has produced in the 18" scale. We are just left with Crimson Typhoon. I really hope NECA don't leave us hanging and not complete the foursome. It will surely be a letdown.

Striker Eureka is an Australian Mark-5 Jaeger designed to defend the coastline of Australia from the Kaiju. Constructed five years before the closure of the Jaeger Program, Striker Eureka was launched on November 2, 2019. Piloted by the father and son team, Hercules and Chuck Hansen, Striker Eureka is the strongest Jaeger in the field of combat against the Kaiju. It is the first and only Mark-5 series Jaeger, holding the best stats of all currently deployed Jaegers.

The packaging is the same as what we get for Gipsy Danger and Cherno Alpha.
It is attractive and you can see Striker clearly through the window.
However the same problem for the last two Jaegers still exists for Striker - just too many twistees!
I get it, NECA you want to secure the figure well but this is really overdoing it. One or two less twistees will not see the figure drop out from its packaging...
Anyway we get a cool backdrop along with the figure.
So all is forgiven with the twistees!

It is hard to get a good look at Striker in the movie but based on what I can remember and from movie stills, I think NECA did very well with the sculpting.
For this price point and scale, NECA has done a very good job for all the 18" Jaegers.
The detailing is great and the painting / weathering effect is also well done.
Striker is bigger than both Gipsy and Cherno in terms of chest and shoulder dimensions.

Striker comes with his 2 T-16 "Angel" wings which is basically scapula mounted fin towers to maintain aerodynamic balance during the turbulence of burst combat.
It should fit nicely into the 2 holes at the back of the Striker.
Unfortunately once the fins are attached, the top body becomes very heavy. The mid body joint is pretty loose and most of the time can't hold the weight of the top part of the body hence Striker will tend to topple over. So if you are displaying Striker on a open top shelf do be careful as Striker will take a dive to the ground.

The 2 holes to fit the "angel" wings.

One of my fins is bent when I took it out of packaging. I tried to bend it back but it does not seem to work. I am not sure if I should apply heat to it to soften and try again. Anyway it is at the back and once in display I can't see it.
Not great but I can live with it.

Striker also comes with his assault mount 3.25 "Sting-Blades" attached on his two arms. The blades are articulated. Pretty cool.

Like the other 2 Jaegers, there is also light up feature. The batteries are found at the back under the turbo looking thing between the "angel" wings. The switch for the lights is on the turbo looking thing....maybe the pictures will be a better guide rather than the poor descriptions...hahaha

I am already in too deep as I have Gipsy and Cherno hence it is a no brainer that I will add Striker to my collection. If you do not have the other two, maybe you might want to pick up at least Gipsy or he will just look incomplete.
But I must say he looks impressive and design wise, looks better than Gipsy and Cherno.
It is a nice piece but the weak mid joints and the heavy top body (when it has the attached wings) are really irritating and affect the posability of the figure. Maybe you can buy a stand for it. He ain't going to hold any dynamic pose for that I am sure.

Showing off Striker in some fanciful background

How can I not pose Striker with his friends. HaHa...

Breaking Bad Walter White Kit Bash

I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!
