It's not always cool to have superpowers!

Don't you get it...you are not good enough!

I recently came across an article on the top 10 lamest superpowers on Yahoo news and it really cracked me up!
Hence I went searching for more of such lists to share with you guys.
It's not always cool to have superpowers!

Arm Fall Off Boy
Arm Fall Off Boy is a DC Comics superhero from the 30th century.
He has the ability to detach his own limbs, which he can then use as a club!.
OMG...who would want to have such a superpower? I rather have my arms where they are and carry a proper club!

Matter Eater Lad
Matter-Eater Lad (real name Tenzil Kem) is a superhero in the DC Universe.
He possesses the power to eat matter in all forms. Come on! The ability to eat anything?! Too bad he wasn't a cannibal or else he could just gobble up his enemies...at least he would be of some use.

Bouncing Boy
Well you guessed it...he can turn himself into a ball by inflating himself.
I guess when the superheroes are having recreational day, he could be used as a ball for some game.

The Red Bee
The Red Bee power is beyond ridiculous. During a fight, he will open one of his belt compartment to release...wait for it...a single bee!
Not a radioactive super bee, or an exotically poisonous one, but a regular, trained bee to sting his enemies.
Huh...at least he could train a swamp of bees which would at least make him a little less lame.
Oh...I dont even want to talk about his costume!

Color Kid
Color Kid has the ability to change the color of things.
Seriously how could this even be useful?
Apparently Color Kid liked to confuse his flying enemies by switching the colors of the ground and the sky, but any enemy stupid enough to fall for that would probably get creamed anyway.

Cypher
Cypher (a.k.a. Doug Ramsey) was a member of the “New Mutants” which was an affiliate of the X-Men. He has the ability to decipher anything, from languages and secret codes and stuff.
I guess he would be no use in a fight but at least if the X-Men wanted to work the DVD but the manual was in Japanese, Cypher would save the day!

Dogwelder
Dogwelder was part of a superhero team known as Section Eight which was a band of these crazy guys that fought crime in rather inane ways.
He wears a silver welder’s outfit that basically just goes around welding stray dogs to villains’ faces.
OMG...I guess SPCA will be knocking on his door pretty soon.

Stone Boy
This is one of my favourite lame superpowers.
Yes it is Stone Boy.
He has the ability to turn himself into stone. Well that does not sound to lame right...well you have not heard the rest of it.
Once he turns himeself into stone, he can't talk, move or do anything. He is basically a statue.
Well at least his allies can throw him at his enemies.

This is just my favourite and there are stil so much more lame superheroes in the comic world!
I wonder if they will ever make it to the silver screen.
HaHaHa...

OMG thanks for the laugh! The first few is so ridiculous that it's so funny! I love the comic strip with Matter Eater, I can just imagine how sarcastic the guy behind was saying those lines LOL

I guess having the Matter Eater Lad power can safe lot of money but in that comic strip I was wondering if he ate the earth to make a tunnel, he would have crap those somewhere as he goes along. LOL

I seem to recall an episode of the Legion of Superheroes cartoon wherein they dealt with a lot of the 'useless' superpowered future heroes. In it, Stone Boy turns himself into stone while lying down and Color Kid changes him to the color of the ground, thereby tripping the enemy.
